SURF STAFF
tim reda
To Tim, surfing is about having fun and expressing one's own unique style. Tim learned to surf when he was 8, in the very cold waters of Washington. He then went south to the warmer (but still freezing) Santa Cruz to kickstart his surfing career, study photography and learn how to shape surfboards at Pearson Arrow. A professional surfer, Tim competed for a World Title in the 2014 World Longboard Championships. Tim is a patient, fun, knowledgeable and well known teacher and coach. He's also the director of all of our Summer Camps and Classes. He owns and operates Endless Sun Surf School year round with his wife Amy.
Amy Reda
Owner of Endless Sun, Amy learned to surf at the Endless Sun Surf Camp when she was 8 years old! Since then, Amy has gone on to competitively surf at the professional level, coach several surf teams, and offer caring and experienced surfing lessons to all ages. She earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, which undoubtedly lends to her ability to easily connect with people in the water. She enjoys working with kids with special needs. Amy especially loves helping people face and overcome their fears. She has been teaching people to surf for over 20 years! Through Endless Sun Surf, both Amy and Scott developed the first ever after-school surf class for elementary school kids. She also leads all of our Women's Classes. Surfing is about having fun and connecting to nature, and Amy wants to give this life-changing gift to others.
