Can I join a group lesson?

If you want to join others in a group setting at a discounted rate, please signup for our Summer Camps (for kids & adults), Women's/Adult Surf Classes and AfterSchool Classes (kids only). 

​Our private "group" lessons are for your group only! If you want to sign up for a semi-private or private group lesson, you must bring your own group and sign up with 1 to 3 person private lessons. 

Where do I find my instructor?

Please take a look at our Directions page, before coming to your lesson. It provides a photo and detailed description, of where we are located! You will also receive an email with detailed directions once you book your lesson. 

Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, technically you should know how to swim in order to surf. However, where we teach lessons, the water is fairly shallow. Our requirement is that you know how to tread water and can keep your head above water. You don't need to be able to swim a certain speed. If you're not a strong swimmer,  you need to sign up for a 1:1 One Person Private Lesson, and then inform your instructor when you arrive, so that they will keep you on the inside where it's shallow.
