This class is led by a World Championship Tour Surfer, who has over 27 years of surf contest experience and was a former NHHS surf team coach. Whether you want to improve your shortboarding skills or longboarding skills, this class is for you! Professional surfers will teach students how to improve their surfing, how to perform manuevers and how to compete in a surf contest. Fun annual Newport Grom Surf Contest with trophies is held on the last day of season.

Notice: surfing takes place between 18th through 25th St. but meets under the Newport Pier
